Revx Z Newbie  Registered Posts: 11 | Stuff for Duamutef I'm working on a Player's Guide/Walkthrough for DGVRPG. This is going to be quite large, and hopefully useful to someone. That, and having to register at Eka's which still intimidates me, are the things keeping me from answering the Shells quiz over there. However, I have downloaded both the quiz and every chapter of Shells, so rest assured, you will get at least one more set of answers for the quiz eventually. Hopefully it won't take too long - I've beaten DGVRPG four times now, so beating it again with cheap tricks and writing a walkthrough should only take a couple of days. Cheers, Revx. Revx Z Newbie Registered Posts: 11 | What the fuck? I could have sworn I remembered trying to walk north from there and getting nowhere. Edit: I checked. I've been reading the yahoo groups page and it says it is still on, however those posts where way back in 05' and may be dead by now. Honesty I don't mind either way but I just want some closure ^^ | ||||||

I'd go into more detail, but I don't like to announce a lot of detail on projects before I've got functioning versions of them because I often have to switch tactics (just as I had to switch away from the design that's on the discussion group). Just in the last few days I found my current plan isn't going to work so I'm reworking a new design yet again. (thankfully, I think I'll be able to salvage a lot of the work I did for the previous one). The plan still includes having multiple races to choose from, and possibly the ability to choose your clan/tribe/fane/season/chord as well. I've got a few different ideas in mind as far as the next thing to try, and I'm going to have to see how they work in practice before I settle on which one to base the game on. | ||||||
