Post your Deck, strategy, tips, etc.

If you prefer, you can just give some tips and a few of your favorite cards.

I'll start I guess. I just picked up a Gurglemeister starter deck. Haven't changed it much, but then I don't have many points yet. I would guess that a good deck would either be structured similarly to the starter decks and enemy decks, but with your best/favorite cards. These decks have about 40 cards. Any more than 50 or so cards and the law of averages ceases to be your friend.

Direct attack cards are good to use. Don't get too many of them, though, because it can only attack once, whereas a character can attack every turn and can also act as a diversionary target.

Get about 3 or 4 "swallow fainted card" cards. These will clear the board of enemy cards and heal you a bit. Prevents them from reviving and eases load on your processor.

Use cards with complementary abilities, like an escape card and a heal card. If your card just got out of a stinky situation, she will find herself right back there without a healing card. Also Escape and heal cards should be used to keep your big'uns in play (Sorry, couldn't resist.) Let your enemy fatten themselves on your weak cards, even if they are the only ones you have on the field. Player cards can survive a few turns on their own.

I'll post some more tips and my deck once I get some more practice and figure out the new summoning cost rules.

There's already plenty of examples of my decks...they're the ones that came with the game. (I just hit "Make enemy" with the decks I was actually playing with.) They're basically starters with something like 3 boosters each. (I don't tend to play with the same player file for long enough to get big collections)

I have tried many strategies, but as game designer, my strategy is to try stupid things to make sure they DON'T work. (All-character decks, all-weapon decks, all-spell decks, etc)

But as far as actually winning, if you're having trouble, it often helps to tailor a deck to a specific enemy.

Girlyburps fall quick to decks filled with area attacks and fainted swallow cards, but make sure you have a few high-power single attacks to take out their nuke characters the second they come out (Mandy Lynn and Katarina Sailheart, for example).

Gizaga falls to direct attacks against her, since she has 300 HP when she's supposed to have 500. (Oops.)

Gurglemeisters are pushovers...their strongest points revolve around strategies the AI isn't smart enough to use. Just bring some escape cards and you'll be fine.

The best strategy to use against Tsakima varies according to which faction you're using...but if you can knock out her characters as soon as they come out, you can stop her from ramping up her resources. Letting her ramp up her resources is bad. A lot of direct attacks and a bias towards offense will help you here--stock up on weapons that are as powerful as you can play on the first turn and try to keep her character count at 0 for as long as possible.

A fun trick, especially with Gurglemeisters, is to swallow your morsel cards before your enemy can. This will strengthen your leader and deny the enemy the same strength.

Also, the processor load will be vastly decreased in 2.1, so you can have more characters. As soon as I get around to uploading it. Which is mostly a matter of making sure I didn't break anything.

I'd have to say my favorite cards are Mandy Lynn (Mandy Lynn + 10 Girlyburps = OMFG Nuke), Town Guard and, strangely enough, Steel Longsword. SL lets you cycle through your deck while pecking at the enemy while not using any significant resources, and Town Guard is handy just because she'll take whatever resources you have lying around.

A few other favorites are Shadow Armor, Gaiasen (I don't know why--I guess I just like her picture), Coronya Sailheart, and The Other Way Out.

Ok, my old deck still had land cards and no new cards. I did a clean install and am now up to speed. One thing I notice is that with non stacking resources, it requires much more careful selection of cards in your deck. Before If my player produced one monster per turn, I could throw 4 or 5 monster cards or quick attacks to make best use of the points. Now I can't use those cards. This makes Player cards that produce no monsters, but more Hearts and gold preferable. Also, weak girls are required to build gold to summon stronger girls. Or use marketplaces. Better both.
You know what i would like? a list of cards in the game. and maybe a list of all of the opponents and how to unlock them.
There is an easy way to view all of the cards--just load the card editor and load the starting set.

As for the unlockable opponents, they are:

Sara Shan (Girlyburp leader; unlocked when you beat Lilly Snowfeather and Sandy Sailheart)

Jalara (Gurglemeister leader; unlocked when you beat Fayzee and Chanelle)

Ailosa (Whitefeather leader; unlocked when you beat Dassanna and Tsakima)

Lady Amaretta (Blood Fane leader; unlocked when you beat Gizaga and Shiacanda)

Once you defeat all four of those (Sara Shan, Jalara, Ailosa and Lady Amaretta) you unlock Nifirica. Once you beat Nifirica, you unlock Kathaint and Fallen.

Pack your deck with longswords (they deflect weapons when you play multiple copies) and shielding spells.

And pray.

The problem with her unlocking at the wrong time will be fixed in the next release.

Also i noticed something else, you can enchant cards into negative cost (which i did by accident) and it treats it like you had a +resource enchantment on it. like when i enchanted all my baby succubuses to be free i accidently made one cost -1 mana, and when i play it i am credited one mana to my resources. This must be a major bug as people will simply enchant down untill they gain enough resources instead of paying the increasing cost of adding more resources properly.
